Great hotel and great location. Within walking distance to museums, cinemas, bars and loads of shopping. Not far from 2 train stations and bus stop amd taxi rank outside. So clean and staff are very friendly. Breakfast in the morning is great....loads to choose from. Highly recommended
Smooth check-in (self service) experience with friendly staff. Room was spacious and comfortable but the highlight for me was the breakfast. I travel occasionally with work and end up staying at a number of similar ‘chain style’ hotels - I can easily say that the breakfast I had here was the best tasting breakfast I have ever had at a hotel of this type. Well cooked, good range of choice and genuinely tasty - I would go back again just for the breakfast.

Great hotel. Staff very friendly and efficient. Very comfortable and quiet room. Lovely thick bath towels. Complimentary toiletries were very nice. Plenty of choice at the buffet breakfast of hot and cold food. Would definitely stay again.
We enjoyed our stay at this property. The family room was clean and quite spacious though we were a bit disappointed that the room did not have a mini fridge despite an empty "alcove" meant for a mini-fridge within the closet space. Bathroom was large with the standard tub/shower combination. Breakfast was great - there was a variety that suited everyone including our two young children. We had dinner in the same restaurant on our second night and love the food. Our server was new (she was wearing an "In Training" tag) so service was a bit lacking but she tried. The ladies at the front desk were absolute wonders! Super friendly and helpful with providing travel tips and suggestions to local attractions and ordering a taxi when we needed. We really liked the complimentary water station in the lobby that was available to all guests. Location is convenient. The hotel is a short 10-minute walk from the Bullring and Chinatown, and 5-minutes from the New Street Station.

Ideally placed 4 star hotel Near to the bull ring Buses frequently run. Ten minutes from airport. Great hotel, ideal for weddings, conferences or just a break from from it all. Rooms have air conditioning. Disabled facilities good, need to book for a room for disabilities in advance. Breakfast, lunch and dinner all excellent, staff are all friendly and helpful a credit to the hotel
Had a lovely stay here - the breakfast was great, massive variety. The hotel is beautifully decorated, from the outside you’d never guess the decor was this beautiful inside. Room was nice and clean. Staff were all great and helpful. Close by to the train station, good easy access to central Birmingham/Bull ring. Also within easy access to a nice range of shops and eaterys just round the corner.

Best Sunday roast ever. Not only that but all the food is just amazing. The people that work there have great customer service skills. My favourite place to go and have a quit and nice meal.
Had to change beers a couple of times, it'd gone off probably due to the hot weather. Bar assistant was fine with this. The outdoor rear garden is quite impressive

We booked the cellar for a very casual wedding reception for about 35 guests. We were there from 12 pm to 11 pm! The service was amazing. The staff were lovely and served us and our guest to the best of their ability. We could play our own very rock-centric music. We decorated the place to our liking. We even ordered loads of delicious beer tapas, which our guests were very complimentary of. Everyone loved everything about our event. The food, the drinks, the atmosphere. Didn’t want to leave!
Really nice quirky upmarket bar and restaurant. Food menu is not over the top, has some splendid choices and the flavours are brilliant. Compliments to the kitchen staff and chefs. Drinks are average prices. The bar itself is only a few minutes from the train station.

Old fashioned 'spit and sawdust pub. Great cool ales and cocktails. I didn't have much hope when I entered but the atmosphere and how busy it was really perked me up. Hidden little gem
A bit pricey. Toilets could be a bit better. Great drinks. Excellent staff!

It was like staying in a time capsule! Modern street outside and a 1930 house inside. The house has everything you might need and in the centre of the City. I. Would recommend the back to back tour as well.
In addition to being Brum's Number One tourist attraction, it also houses (excuse pun) two of the quirkiest holiday lets in the UK. Facing out onto Inge Street are No. 52 & No. 54, some of the last remaining Back to Backs in England, but which have been cleverly converted to provide excellent accommodation set out over three floors. Both ideally situated to experience all that Birmingham has to offer. And No, you don't have to use the toilets in the yard!

I love this place , stayed one nite . Got there around 5pm , on arrival we were give one complementary drink of our choice. And free cheese burgers and they were gorgeous as I was starving . Thought might have to pay for the second one cheese burger but no , on the house . Room was clean , fresh bedding. Staff extremely helpful and pleasant.. definitely stay here again. Ms Williams

I've stayed here before and wasn't impressed, but I needed to stay in the area again so gave it a second chance. Let me start by saying the room isn't the problem, so if you only want a place to sleep, it might work for you. If you want decent security, and a restaurant for dinner and /or breakfast, maybe go somewhere else. The restaurant at this location is poor. I avoided it for dinner (after my experience last time) but had breakfast, and the service was very very slow, even with few guests in the restaurant, and even a humble bowl of porridge was poorly prepared. I like premier Inn because of the consistency, but I wonder if the standards are slipping
Usual standard for a Premier Inn. Good rooms and decent breakfast. The staff were super helpful too. I needed to make some visits the next day and they made extra effort to ensure my parking was validated for another couple of hours. The bar also opened a bottle of red for us and offered us glasses too. Not exactly a glorious bit of Birmingham but close enough to the football grounds and Aston uni.

Great value. Receptionist was very polite and helpful. The room clean and comfortable. As we were at the side of the hotel, it was also quiet. Plenty of free parking. Nearby restaurants excellent - TGIs and Ask, also the Beefeater adjoined to the hotel.
A premier inn is a premier inn at the end of the day. This is much like any other premier in you've ever been to. My room was down a series of corridors which felt rather like a maze, but i managed to find it every time. The room was identical to a room i stayed in at a premier inn in a different part of the country which was rather strange, and i spent two days in what felt like a constant state of deja vu. In the front lobby/reception area, there was a Ben and Jerry's vending machine, which is something that I've never seen before. I was rather excited to try it out, and although it was expensive, i did enjoy both watching it happen and eating the ice cream. The parking was ample and the reception staff were lovely, going out of their way to resolve an issue caused by my own forgetfulness. The room was clean and tidy, as was the bathroom, and the rest of the hotel. Had a lovely stay.
If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!
