Booked a back on the road service for my Retro GT zaskar race today and got new chain, brakes and good advice from Shaun in the cycle surgery all for a good price. The long opening hours also make it perfect for people working to pick bikes up at a time convenient to suit. Will be using them again for my Cube soon. Thanks
Will was really helpful with my (self-made) mechanical issue. Couldn't have asked for more.

Just had a Hope bottom bracket fitted after Evans botched fitting the last one resulting in it wearing out after just 3 weeks!! Very knowledgeable, I should have gone there in the first place! I won’t be getting the bike sorted anywhere else in the future...
Bought a new bike from this place just before Xmas. I’ve had a couple of issues with it since and on both occasions it has been dealt with in an exemplary fashion with absolutely no questions asked. A good bunch of guys, clearly very knowledgable and passionate about what they do. Would definitely recommend and would buy from them again.

I recently purchased a bike from Cycle Republic. The team were great, very efficient and nothing was to much trouble for them. Very knowledgeable and willing to share freely. I recently took my back wheel in for a service as it went out of true again I couldn't fault the team dropped it off and the following day I collected and to my surprise the team didn't charge me for the repair. I will be using these guys as my LBS in the future. Many Thanks for your help.
Genuinely think the lads here are brilliant. I’m not a big cyclist, I only use my mountain bike to commute into/from work, but it’s needed to be serviced and I’ve had a few problems with my tub less tyres/rims letting me down. Thankfully the staff here have never let me down (see what I did there? 😉) and have bailed me out several times as I’ve had to drop my bike in without any notice and they’ve sorted out any problems in a matter of hours while I’m at work. One thing they clearly don’t do is work or repairs that don’t need doing - which really puts people like me at ease. You can tell as well it’s not just a job for them, they are keen cyclists first. Top blokes, top place.

They have two locations, one next to the Sealife, and the other one indicated here on the map. You should definetly call before visiting the shop because they may be one or the other location. Otherwise they do have a good selection of bikes. Bought one of their cheapest (around £60) and it has served me well for my everyday commute during 3 months (then I left B'ham, the bike is still fine!). If they don't have what you need in stock, they may look at the ones not repaired yet and get it fixed for you in a week or so. You can also purchase a lock at the store if you need one.
Never open just went there and it's not open 9 - 5 lies
