Punjab National Bank International Ltd

290 Soho Rd, Birmingham B21 9LZ, UK – 0800 849 9229

Excellent customer friendly service, very hard to get from India public sector bank. After I'd bitter experience from SBI - Soho Road due to their lack of knowledge on their service, I was scared to enter PNB. Surprisingly PNB staffs treats the customer with dignity and respect. Thanks PNB.

Good professional staff always ready to listen and help.

Local Chambers of Commerce for B19 3TG. These can be an extraordinarily effective way of getting into the business community and / or getting things done. Equally they can be entirely useless depending on the chair. If they have networking events associated with them definitely go, and keep going, if you have a business that need local support. What you put in is exactly what you get out. Below is the national site. Watch this slot - it might improve!
Birmingham Register Office

Holliday St, Birmingham B1 1TJ, UK – 0121 675 1000

Couple of things to keep in mind. Make sure you are on time. Even if you are 5 min late, you will be asked to book another appointment. I believe staff is well behaved as long as you follow the guidelines. You will get lot of parking space within 2 min walking 🚢 distance so no issue. If you are going to book a child birth then you can go alone as long as you are in civil partnership. No need to bring you new born. Book 9 AM appointment and you will be served in 5 min. Overall, I had great experience.

The Islamic Council UK

43 Temple Row, Birmingham B2 5LS, UK – 0800 622 6111

Excellent service provided by them according by islamic law as ordained by Allah Almighty. My daughter had suffered unbelievable abuse by her deranged former husband who surely will be punished by Allah Almighty.

I would highly recommend them as they do not abuse Sharia Law. I can not thank them enough in the manner they dealt with my case. Some people dont like them because they dont encourage men or women to stay in a abusive relationship. Instead they listen to both side of the story. Plz dont go to fake Sharia councils. They will only waste your time and money. Contact Islamic Council UK and inshaAllah you will find out for yourself that they provide excellent customer service Alhamdulillah...

Dental Surgeries

Will Murphy Dentistry

51 Newhall St, Birmingham B3 3QR, UK – 0121 236 7630

This is a fantastic dentist, the surgery is well equipped, welcoming and doesn't feel like a traditional dentist. The best thing about the place is the manner in which Will deals with his patients. Always reassuring and trying to do the very best for them. Highly recommended.

I can thoroughly recommend you use Will as your dentist. He delivers a professional, courteous and caring service. He has looked after my dental requirements for many years and my teeth remain in perfect working order. Paul Tracey

The Dentist At Liberty Place

Sheepcote St, Birmingham B16 8AE, UK – 0121 633 9535

Very polite staff treating you like a "customer." Nice styling and comfort in the surgery. Appointments available with little notice required. Transparent pricing on treatment plans so no expensive shocks. Membership options seem worth the money. Technically and professionally a high standard is evident. No hesitation in recommending to friends. πŸ–’πŸ–’πŸ–’πŸ–’πŸ–’

Colin and the team here are brilliant. My teeth were a disaster zone before coming here. Now after an implant, root fillings and some new crowns, Colin has rescued my smile and ability to chew!! They are all so caring and very professional. Steven is a great hygienist, always very careful yet thorough. Very highly recommended.

Academy of Birmingham Cosmetic and General Dentistry

12 Waterloo St, Birmingham B2 5TB, UK – 0121 633 8833

My sister and I came here as we both decided after Christmas that we would do something about our teeth. We are both ex-smokers and you could tell looking at our teeth. After a few treatments here we both are so thrilled with how our teeth now look. Very welcoming clinic, easy going and offer really good treatments.

Amazing service, very friendly, very professional and painless!

Halcyon Medical

67 - 69 High St, Birmingham B4 7TA, UK – 0121 411 0363

I find that the surgery is much quieter during the university holidays than during term time. That said, I have always found the reception staff extremely friendly and helpful. I think the medical staff are extremely good and always listen and are very good at taking the time to explain test results and, if you need to be referred to hospital, why you need referred and what the potential outcomes might be. I think it is entirely unfair to criticise the staff because the surgery is busy - I think they do a fantastic job of balancing costs and staffing, with the patient experience in an extremely busy surgery where a large number of the patients have poor to no English. An example I overheard in the waiting room - the reception staff at the last minute changed a patient's doctor because they realised she had very little English as she was from Iran and they switched her to a doctor who could talk to her in Farsi.

Hockley Medical Practice

60 Carver St, Birmingham B1 3AL, UK – 0121 554 1757

Cannot agree with this comments. Me and my husband join this GP 4 months ago, we never had any problems. Sometimes I need emergency appointment, I call reception at 8 am and I'm coming to see doctor few hours later. Receptionists are very busy, but they not rude at all. Always try to help you.

I don't recognise the negative descriptions of the receptionists. They have always been efficient, friendly and helpful towards me. I have had to have a number of appointments and I've never had to wait long past my appointment time and I've had great care from all concerned.

NHS Direct is now NHS 24. Just dial 111 to speak to a professional or click the link below for there self help website. Lots of really useful info but keep clear of heart surgery! If in doubt ask your GP or call 111. Good luck.

Birmingham City Hospital

Dudley Rd, Birmingham B18 7QH, UK – 0121 554 3801

Last Thursday I had a silly trip up the curb that resulted in a nasty gash to my head. An ambulance was called and I was taken to City Hospital. The staff in the A & E department were fantastic. They treated me with great kindness whilst remaining skilful and professional. Whilst waiting to be treated I enjoyed an excellent cup of coffee and a superb sandwich from the machines in the waiting area and was pleasantly surprised with both the quality and reasonable cost of the refreshments. But best of all were the staff, thank you all. Mo. xx =^..^=

Happy happy happy mom was taken ill from work.we had never been to this hospital before. They look after all of us they all work so hard. You are in safe hands at this hospital for sure.unlike some of the others.

Give and get free stuff. Here you will find lots of items that people are willing to give away, for FREE! This is instead of taking them to a local landfill site. The aim of this site is to reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfill (20.9 million tonnes of it last year in the UK) and recycling is great news for the environment.
We all know that we need to recycle more - and this is a great way of doing it.

Kohinoor Restaurant

28-29 Horse Fair, City Centre, Birmingham B1 1DD, UK – 0121 622 2053

Impressed with this restaurant. 3 adults and 2 children went on a Groupon offer. They don’t have children’s portions but kindly let the children share. Decor was nice and modern. Clean appearance . Food hygiene rating of 5. Most important the food was really good. Special mention to my Chicken Chat starter which I thought was fantastic. The mains all had good flavours. I would recommend this restaurant if you are going to the Hippodrome etc. As it’s a very short walk away.

Great food great service. Friendly staff well worth the visit. Would highly recommend!!! Me and friends regulars now, is just so good value for outstanding food. Return fantastic and the food is as good as the restaurant looks!

Nursery and Preschools

Lime Tree Day Nursery and Preschool

300 Gillott Road, Edgbaston, Birmingham B16 0RR, UK – 0121 455 6026

My nephew attends this fantastic nursery and I couldn't be more impressed! His development has come on in leaps and bounds since starting. The staff are amazing and so helpful. Always available and happy to assist with any queries or issues. I would definitely recommend to others.

My two year old boy currently goes to lime tree day nursery and I couldn't be happier. He has really come along in all aspects of his development with the help of the excellent staff they have there. The best thing is that I never have to worry about him when he goes there while I go to work as he literally runs in there each morning with a smile on his face ready to play and learn with his friends and the staff.

Edgbaston Kindergarten

413-415 Gillott Rd, Birmingham B16 9LL, UK – 0121 455 0883

Really wonderful setting. I knew when I first visited to inspect the place and all the older children rushed out of their room to see who I was and ask me questions about my baby that it was right for us. Then I saw a kindergartener be tasked with independently taking an item to another member of staff in a different room, and I was even more sure. The staff here really get to know your kid and how they tick, and they thrive as a result. It's the Montessori way. There's rarely any crying, the kids are always happy and appropriately challenged. Both my kids started at 12 months and left aged 4, picked up their alphabet and numbers quickly and generally loved their time here. It really felt like an extension of the family. They were very supportive of my parenting choices - baby signing, breastfeeding, washable nappies and daytime naps even for 4yr olds, and the kids were happy and secure as a result. My kids still ask to go back to visit, a year later!
